On this occasion, we update the top 5 of the countries with the highest growth in reserves in this month of October. Thus, the B2B platform, Travelgatex, shows us a classification of 10 countries, of which we will mention only the first 5, and the comparison of the growth of these countries with previous months and years:
- The number 1 position is taken by the United States of America, with 26.27% of the world’s reserves. Despite being in the first position, it is observed that this country has had a strong decrease of 5% in its reservations during the month of October.
- Spain continues to lead the European market, with 19% of world reserves, with a really insignificant increase in this month of October, only 0.26% compared to the previous year, negligible growth that allows it to maintain its second position .
- Thirdly, we have Italy, who for more than 2 years had not achieved such an important position, it is evident then that Italy is once again resuming the natural flow of its tourist visits. Especially the months of October and November will be key months for this country.
- In fourth place we find Indonesia, which has surprisingly climbed as one of the most visited countries in the world, and is that after the summer, and in these last three months of the year, this country has had an increase rate in reservations of up to 2.54%, a fairly high number that denotes the tourist’s interest in this magical destination.
- In the last place of this analysis we find Great Britain, with 4.87% of world reserves, a growth of 3.24% compared to previous years. Although Great Britain has always struggled to stay within the main tourist destinations, with the strong restrictions that until recently the government of the country maintained, it was not very successful in achieving this, but has recently experienced significant increases in tourist mobility, thanks to the total opening of its borders. We do not doubt that in the coming months this country may climb higher positions.
