For a few weeks we have not heard of bonuses or economic benefits that governments implement in order to promote tourism in the regions, especially in these times where reserves are low and waiting for improvements for the holiday season. But this is not the case in the Region of Murcia, which has recently promoted its “Tourist Experience” voucher which, according to the government of the region, has two fundamental objectives:
1.- Continue promoting travel to destinations within the region. during the mid-low season, and
2.-Support the relaunch of the activity of regional travel agencies, after months of enormous difficulty caused by the pandemic.
Who can qualify for the bonus?
Anyone residing in Spain, inside and outside the Region of Murcia.
How much is the discount?
50% of the cost of the reservation value, up to a maximum of 250 euros, for stays of a minimum of two nights, in the same accommodation or in different accommodation.
Until when is the bonus valid?
Until May 31, 2022. But the possibility of using it is not applicable during the December holidays, so it is basically divided into two, from now until December 17, and then from January to May.
Types of accommodation in which it will be applicable?
The types of accommodation subject to the campaign are hotel establishments, tourist apartments, campsites, rural houses, rural inns, hostels and houses for tourist use.
How do I get the bonus?
The vouchers, which will be awarded in order of formalization of reservations, are acquired for free on the website murciaturistica.es. Once registered, the user will receive an email with their promotional code and will have a period of seven days to go or contact one of the travel agencies that are part of the program, and formalize the reservation to enjoy the contracted tourist package. The agency has to be paid 50% of the eligible services.
