Direct hotel sales continue to grow. Around 39% more than 2019

As we have been indicating through the different newsletters, direct sales during the pandemic have been imposed on reservations through platforms such as booking, tripadvisor. The Mirai platform has shown that despite the multiple limitations imposed by the British Government, the main market for Spanish tourism, the value of sales made on the hotels’ own websites increased last week by 39% compared to the same period of the year 2019. This recovery trend is due mainly to the push of three source markets: France, Spain and Germany.
