As we know, tourism has been one of the most affected sectors due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which is why many autonomous communities, in order to boost the economy and activate the tourism sector, have been designing bonds and other incentives for tourists so that they are encouraged to travel during the holiday season. On this occasion, the Community of Madrid has announced the implementation of a new Voucher, which covers up to 50% of the tourist expenses that visitors to this community could make. The tourist vouchers of the Community of Madrid will have an amount of up to 600 euros.
Who can request this bonus?
All national tourists, citizens who have Spanish nationality or legal residence in Spanish territory and consume tourist and cultural products and services in the Community of Madrid. Each tourist may request a voucher per month, as long as he does not have another previous voucher pending to enjoy.
Where can I exchange them?
This voucher can be used by tourists in companies, accommodations or agencies whose registered office is in the Community of Madrid, and its applicability must be subject to the limit of 600 euros per beneficiary, provided that they reserve at least one night’s accommodation.
Where can guests request it?
Requesting them is very simple, they are available through the portal www.bonosturisticoscomunidaddemadrid.es, which has been specifically enabled for this program. After accessing this platform, the first step will be to register by completing a form with personal data and attaching your ID.
What accommodations will be available?
All accommodations that are domiciled in Madrid will be subject to the applicability of this voucher. After obtaining the voucher, the tourist must check on the web which accommodations and agencies are attached to the program and make a reservation directly with these companies at least 10 days in advance.
The validity of the bonds will last until May 15 or until the funds for this initiative in favor of Tourism are exhausted, to which hotels such as the Hotel Mayorazgo, RIU Plaza de España, Hotel Urban, Hotel Emperador have already joined. or the Indigo Madrid Princesa, among many others.
