Chekin’s online check-in platform may include advertising content managed directly by Chekin. This content can be displayed during the guest’s check-in process, in the form of banners or other similar formats.
This advertising is not based on the guest’s personal attributes, nor does it involve automated decisions or profiling. Ads are shown solely based on the location of the property using the check-in service, without processing any other personal data of the user.
Under no circumstances are personal data shared with third parties for advertising purposes, nor are personalized ads displayed unless otherwise stated and proper consent has been obtained.

The legal basis for the processing of Guests’ personal data is:

4. What personal data do we process?
In order to fulfil the purposes described above, the following data is collected:
- Identification data: Name, surname, DNI/NIE/Passport.
- Contact details: Email, telephone number.
- Accommodation data: Dates of stay and data related to registration in the accommodation.
- Verification data: Photographs of the identity document and of the Guest (selfie type), only for identity verification. These images are deleted immediately after the verification process, in compliance with the data minimisation principle set out in the GDPR.
5. How long will we keep your personal data?
The personal data provided will be kept for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes of the processing and to determine possible legal liabilities. In particular:
- Identification and contact data: They will be kept during the contractual relationship and, subsequently, for the period of time legally established by applicable regulations.
- Verification data (photographs of the Guest and ID): Will be deleted immediately after verification.
6. To which recipients will your data be disclosed?
We inform you that certain data, by virtue of the regulations in force or the contractual relationship you maintain with Chekin Soluciones Digitales, S.L, may be communicated to:
– The hosts or owners of the accommodation where you have made the reservation, exclusively for the management of check-in and compliance with the guest registration regulations.
– Competent public administrations, such as the State Security Forces and Corps, for the fulfilment of the legal obligations of registration of travellers established by the regulations in force.
– Service providers contracted by Chekin Soluciones Digitales, S.L. who act as data processors, such as hosting services, management tools or technological platforms, with whom the corresponding contract has been formalised to ensure compliance with the GDPR.
– Courts or tribunals, in the event that it is necessary to comply with judicial or administrative requirements.
