      At Chekin Soluciones Digitales, S.L, we process the information provided by Guests for the following purposes:

      Transmit the Guest’s data to the legal authorities in accordance with the current regulations on registration of travellers in tourist accommodation.

      Check-in management

      Enable the digital management of check-in at the accommodation, facilitating the Guest’s stay and speeding up the check-in process.

      Attention and support

      Respond to requests, queries or incidents related to the digital check-in service.

      3. What is the legitimacy for the processing of your data?

        The legal basis for the processing of Guests’ personal data is:

        Processing necessary to manage the digital check-in and verify the identity of the Guest in the accommodation process.

        Transmission of the Guest’s data to law enforcement or governmental authorities in accordance with applicable traveller registration regulations.

        Attention and support to Guests in case of incidents related to the digital check-in service.

        The data we request from you are adequate, relevant and strictly necessary and you are under no obligation to provide them, but failure to provide them may affect the purpose of the service or the impossibility of providing it.

        4. What personal data do we process?

          In order to fulfil the purposes described above, the following data is collected:

          • Identification data: Name, surname, DNI/NIE/Passport.
          • Contact details: Email, telephone number.
          • Accommodation data: Dates of stay and data related to registration in the accommodation.
          • Verification data: Photographs of the identity document and of the Guest (selfie type), only for identity verification. These images are deleted immediately after the verification process, in compliance with the data minimisation principle set out in the GDPR.

          5. How long will we keep your personal data?

            The personal data provided will be kept for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes of the processing and to determine possible legal liabilities. In particular:

            • Identification and contact data: They will be kept during the contractual relationship and, subsequently, for the period of time legally established by applicable regulations.
            • Verification data (photographs of the Guest and ID): Will be deleted immediately after verification.

            6. To which recipients will your data be disclosed? 

              We inform you that certain data, by virtue of the regulations in force or the contractual relationship you maintain with Chekin Soluciones Digitales, S.L, may be communicated to:

              – The hosts or owners of the accommodation where you have made the reservation, exclusively for the management of check-in and compliance with the guest registration regulations.

              – Competent public administrations, such as the State Security Forces and Corps, for the fulfilment of the legal obligations of registration of travellers established by the regulations in force.

              – Service providers contracted by Chekin Soluciones Digitales, S.L. who act as data processors, such as hosting services, management tools or technological platforms, with whom the corresponding contract has been formalised to ensure compliance with the GDPR.

              – Courts or tribunals, in the event that it is necessary to comply with judicial or administrative requirements.

              7. What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

                    If any data subject considers that their data are not being processed correctly by Chekin Soluciones Digitales, S.L. or that requests to exercise their rights have not been dealt with satisfactorily, they may lodge a complaint with the corresponding data protection authority,

                          Chekin Soluciones Digitales, S.L. reserves the right to modify this policy to adapt it to new legislation or changes in services. In case of relevant modifications, the hosts will be informed through the means of contact provided.
