Netflix shows us the world’s most incredible vacation rentals

The world’s most popular streaming platform with more than 117 million subscribers recently embraced vacation rentals. We see it in one of its latest releases on its platform, a reality show where three travellers visit incredible holiday homes and accommodations around the world. 

Undoubtedly, a reality show that presents a good opportunity for the vacation rentals sector. A way of honouring the success of the “Airbnb effect” that over the last few years has not only had a positive impact on the way we travel, but has also spread to the screen and television that we consume on a daily basis, without leaving our homes.

Traveling from the sofa: Netflix and vacation homes

Netflix brings to the screen the incredible options that private rentals or vacation rentals can offer. A type of accommodation that is within everyone’s reach thanks to platforms such as Airbnb, where vacation rentals are trying to rank higher and higher. 

Under the name “The World’s Most amazing vacation rentals” show hosts Jo Franco, Megan Batoon and Luis D. Ortiz surprise us with the most impressive accommodations and places in the world. From luxury properties, budget rentals with stunning designs to off-the-beaten-path places that will blow your mind. 

Underneath the immense diversity of accommodations discovered by these three travellers, we find the huge advantage of vacation rentals over other types of tourist accommodation. This is mainly due to the existence of a property for almost all types of people, tastes and personalities. Undoubtedly, details that play in favour of improving the guest’s experience in your holiday home.

This first season of the famous reality show has 8 episodes approximately 35 minutes each. Enough to travel from the sofa to 24 holiday rentals around the world. 

Some of the landscapes or places visited are: Mexico, Miami, Alaska, Bali, Japan, etc. Where they will visit tree houses, houseboats, private islands, gourmet accommodations, etc.
