Yes. All biometric data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Chekin is fully GDPR-compliant, ISO certified, and ENISA-compliant. Data is retained only for the legally required period and then automatically deleted.
If the biometric comparison doesn’t produce a confident match, the guest is prompted to retry. If it still fails, you’re notified and can choose to verify manually from your Chekin dashboard.
